Hadrian, 117-138. Cistophorus (Silver, 29 mm, 10.16 g, 6 h), Hierapolis. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS P P Bare-headed and draped bust of Hadrian to right, seen from behind. Rev. COS III Apollo Lairbenos on horseback right, holding reins in his right hand and double axe over his left shoulder. Metcalf -. RPC III online 1396.2 (this coin). Extremely rare. Light deposits and very minor doubling on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
